Day One - Excerpt

November 1st, 2007

Hey NLers, and family + friends!

I haven’t gotten around to writing my 1667 words of the day yet. But I do have a nice excerpt from the first chapter, “The Story Unravels”. Read on. :D

“The time has come,” boomed a voice. “Time has run out, he must come.”
“But your Pharohship, how? Where?” asked a servant, as he was called to the Pharoh’s throne.
“And who is this boy that you insist must come to us, what importance can he bare to save us?”
“Ask no more questions,” The pharoh said. “It’s been planned for centuries this must happen, and the arrangements have been set!” he Scream, his voice echoing for miles across the desert sand.
“Yes sire. But, isn’t there any more you can tell us?” the same servant questioned.
“You’ll know what you need to do, and nothing more. Now go.”

And with the Pharoh’s words still echoing over the sand dunes of Egypt, the servant left his sight, with only the moonlight to guide his path.
